IT Onboarding - Dell with iPhone - 6. Apple Account & Google Device Policy
1. Finish Setting Up Your iPhone
Open the settings app and select "Finish Setting Up Your iPhone", "Finish Setting Up" and enter the PIN you created earlier.
2. Create Apple Account
Select "Forgot password or don't have an Apple Account" then enter your name and date up birth before selecting "Continue".
3. Email address and password
Enter your Visma email adress and choose a password for your Apple account.
4. Phone verification/terms and conditions
Select "Continue", the code you'll reveive will automatically be pasted in. Approve the Terms and conditions by selecting "Agree" in the bottom right.
5. Confirm PIN
Wait for the sign in to complete then enter your PIN to confirm the sign in.
6. Verify email address
To start downloading apps you need to verify your email adress. Go back to settings and you'll have another notification that you'll need to clear. Select "Verify your email address" then "Send code"
You'll receive an email noreply@apple.com containing the code you need.
Enter that code and we'll be done setting up your Apple Account.
7. App Store
Open App Store, select "Continue" and search "Google device policy"
8. Download Google Device Policy
Select "Get", "Install", enter your Apple account password, select "Sign In" and then " Require after 15 minutes"
9. Get started with Google Device Policy
Open the Google Device Policy app and scroll through the information. Select "Continue", "Allow", "Get started" and "Continue".
10. Sign into Google Device Policy
Enter your Visma email address and the password that we updated earlier.
11. Terms of service and profile download
Selcet "Accept" to the terms of service then press the blue download button. Select "Allow" then "Close"
12. Profile installation
Open the settings app. Select "Profile Downloaded" then "Install" in the top right and enter your PIN. Select "Install" again then "Trust".
